I love learning new things, especially if it is a type of craft or any art project. I remember during the COVID lockdown it was tough keeping busy besides the normal daily house chores.

My first love was sewing because as a child, my mother used to make jacket vests to make extra money for our family of 9.

Then, I tried Yaymaker. Where you get to paint/craft at home and because it was easier to just order supplies online through Amazon and then enroll and pay for a class with Yaymaker online.

Things You’ll Need:

1. Basket, box, bag, or other containers.
2. Gift items (homemade or store-bought)
3. Tissue paper, shredded paper, shredded cellophane, or straw.
4. Cellophane, shrink wrap, or tulle.
5. Ribbon or twine.
6. Enclosure card.

You can also find some great baskets that have a beautiful fabric already lining the inside of the basket; ready to be filled for all the goodies you want to fill it up with. However, these baskets fly off the shelves fast.

For the food and Avid Cook/Family Chef there are several ways to make the food gift basket; Choose your choice of basket, cellophane and basket,

• Meal Gift Basket: Basket of your choice, gather/buy all ingredients to make the meal and then add a bottle of fine wine and any accessories you would like to add into the basket.
• Wine Gift Basket: Basket of your choice, cellophane bag, a couple of bottles of fine wine, a couple of wine glasses, and gourmet chocolates.

For the avid Gardener; Nothing says someone is loved and much appreciated than a live plant gift basket.
