The Lord Is My Rock – Psalm 18:2

The Lord Is My Rock

The Lord Is My Rock – Psalm 18:2; “Lord is my rock and my fortress and y deliverer, my God, my strength, in whom I trust, my shield ad the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” As Christians, we will always strive to better ourselves and follow God’s commands daily. Not to mention, daily prayers help us through some of the times we face each day and remind us to be clearly aware of how we conduct ourselves as Christians. Furthermore, I love that my God is my rock. And, this means that He is steady ground. There is no instability. Moreover, there is no wavering about Jesus. He is the same yesterday, and today, and consistent. However, this prayer below will help through some of those times we need reminding.

Daily we are encouraged to take care of our mind, body, and soul, but we need to also be mindful of what we eat and to also not forget to feed our Spirit with living water. (John 4:10, Ephesians 1:13-14)

Pray and leave your trust in Him because we as human beings can change, but He is unchanging. However, we can be shaken, but He is unshakable. Pray this:

Dear God

Wonderful Counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

We praise You because You are our strength,

We declare that You are our rock, our fortress, and our deliverer.

You are the one in whom we take refuge.

When we feel a heavy weight bringing us down, You are our rescue and You lift us up, Jesus.

When we feel burdened or overwhelmed, we are grateful that we can cast our burdens on You.

I pray that whenever we are tired, or exhausted, we can wait on You because You will renew our strength.

God,

When we find ourselves having a hard time moving forward, help us to speak the words, Peace Be Still, to any storm that we are in.

I pray that if we find ourselves worried about the future or how things will work out, You will help us to hold on to Your word, which tells us to be anxious for nothing.

And so we surrender to You and we will be anxious about nothing.

We have no cause for fear.

We have no cause for stress or unrest because You, Lord Jesus, are our rock.

And, we pray for peace and direction in our lives.

We pray that You give us the strength to stand strong, no matter what challenges we face.

Holy Spirit helps us to walk by faith and not by sight.

Help us to walk in the authority You have given us in Your word.

We look to You, God, and continue to trust You, a mighty God who moves mountains.

And we have confidence that regardless of the things happening around us, regardless of the things going on in this world.

You are still on Your throne and You are still a good God who will never leave us or forsake us.

We pray that in every situation we face, may we always have the confidence that You are God above all.

Thank You for your mercy.

Thank you for your grace.

May You deliver us from all of our struggles.

You are a God who is faithful to deliver those who trust in You.

Thank You for hearing our prayer

In the mighty Name of Jesus, we pray

Amen.
